Zabrak are one of the best-known and most wide-spread species in the galaxy, with colonies on many worlds and individuals found on almost every planet. Though not many have appeared in the Star Wars movies, they are a popular species in video games, comic books, and in some novels.

They are also found in pretty much every walk of life. There have been many Zabrak within the Jedi order, and at least a couple of Zabrak Sith. Zabrak can be found as laborers, business owners, pilots, soldiers, entertainers, doctors, and even as the scum of the galaxy (smugglers, bounty hunters) or anything else. The Zabrak are a flexible species and each individual is different in their personality, skills, and preferences.

Zabrak are well known for their horned heads and their tattoos that generally decorate their face and body.

The most famous, or perhaps infamous, Zabrak is likely Darth Maul, who became well known for being the first Sith Lord to show his face to the Jedi in over 1,000 years. Zabrak Jedi included Eeth Koth and Agen Kolar, both of whom were of the same, or very similar Zabrak races.

If the above paragraphs are all you knew about Zabrak, this website is here to teach you a whole lot more. If you're already a big Zabrak fan, then you've come to the right place as well. Here you can learn pretty much everything that is known about Zabrak culture and history, or even submit new information if you know something we don't.

Everyone wants to know which is the proper plural form of the species name. We assume that both can be accepted, but there is a more "proper" choice. "Zabraks" is the form most commonly used among members of other species throughout the galaxy, but leaving the S off is considered the proper spelling among most members of the species, especially on the traditional homeworld of Iridonia. On this website we will always refer to Zabrak in the plural form simply as "Zabrak."
